For a Halloween classroom activity that needs only a few familiar supplies, set up one coloring spot with a printed page, crayons or pencils, and room for each child to make the picture their own. The free Ghost with a Lollipop coloring page gives the station a friendly Halloween character.

What to gather
- One printed Ghost with a Lollipop page for each child taking part
- Crayons or colored pencils already on hand
- A tray, folder or small stack for finished and unfinished pages
- A protective scrap sheet if you offer markers
The free download is a single-page PDF for printing in your own class. Share the page link with another family or teacher so they can download it themselves; please do not resell or redistribute the PDF.
Choose a clear spot
Use a table or desk where children can sit or stand comfortably without blocking the way to another activity. Set the page stack and a small selection of colors where they are easy to reach.
Keeping the supplies together makes the station simple to reset between turns.
Print the page before class
Open the free Ghost with a Lollipop PDF and print single-sided on US Letter paper. For A4, choose fit to page.

Check before class
Check the preview first so the whole ghost and lollipop fit on the sheet.
Check that the whole drawing fits in your print preview. Show the choices, then let children begin
Place a few colors beside the page and invite each child to choose where to start. They might color the lollipop swirl, the ghost, or both.
There is no required color and no need to finish the whole page in one turn.
Offer one optional prompt
A short question can help a child decide what to add: “Where might this ghost be taking its lollipop?” Children can answer aloud, draw an idea on a separate sheet, or simply keep coloring. The prompt is optional; the picture works on its own.
Gather the pages and reset
When it is time to move on, place finished pictures in a folder or let each child take their own page home. Put unused pages back in the stack and return the colors to the tray.
If you want a display, invite children to choose whether their picture goes on the wall or comes home with them.
