The short version
Color Page Prints is a one-person studio in the United States. We store information you submit through our forms and use Google Analytics and the Pinterest Tag to measure visits and actions on this site. Those services receive information as described below. Book checkout takes place on Etsy or Amazon, not on this website. Free-page downloads do not require an email address.
What we collect, and when
Email forms. When you save a request on this site, we store your email address, the form and book or topic you selected, the submission date, the consent wording shown to you, and any optional notes. We use this information for the request you made, not as permission for unrelated promotions. Saving a request does not confirm an email subscription. Seasonal subscriptions use the separate Brevo signup described below.
Contact and custom-request forms. When you send a message through the contact page or the custom-book request form, we store what you typed, including your name if you gave one, so we can reply.
Technical data. Our hosting and measurement providers process request information such as browser or device details and page URLs. Form records also include the browser's user-agent string. Hosting request data is used to operate and troubleshoot the site. Please do not put sensitive personal information in a message or optional notes field.
Seasonal email updates through Brevo
The seasonal signup button opens a form hosted by Brevo. When you submit that form, Brevo processes your email address, consent and confirmation records, and email delivery and unsubscribe events for Color Page Prints. Your subscription is completed only after you use the confirmation link sent to your email address. We do not automatically import older website requests into this list.
The hosted form uses Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent automated signups. See Google’s privacy policy.
You can stop marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in them. We retain the unsubscribe record to honor your choice. See Brevo’s privacy policy. You can also contact us about your information using this site’s contact page.
Book votes and optional book updates
Voting does not require your name or email. We use a random browser identifier in the cpp_book_vote cookie to remember your choices for up to one year, and store the selected book IDs and update time with Netlify. Clearing the cookie can reset this browser’s voting history. Votes are a reader-interest signal, not a scientific poll or a purchase.
Book email signup is separate from voting and from seasonal subscriptions. When it is open, it asks for permission to send status updates about your chosen book and a 10% launch offer for that book’s Etsy printable edition if it is released. We store the email, book ID, exact consent wording, confirmation state and dates privately in Netlify Blobs. Brevo sends the confirmation email and processes delivery information. We do not add a seasonal subscriber to book promotions automatically.
The dedicated book signup and preference pages do not load Google Analytics or the Pinterest Tag. Confirmation requires you to use the email link and confirm on the page. The preference link lets you stop that book’s updates or all Color Page Prints marketing emails, including seasonal emails. We retain the preference record to honor your choice. An all-marketing request blocks book messages immediately and updates your existing Brevo marketing preference; if the provider has not confirmed that change, the page says so while the saved request remains pending. We do not create a new Brevo contact when you unsubscribe. You can also contact us to review or delete your information. If the form says signup is not open, no address is collected through it.
Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand page visits, traffic sources and actions such as free downloads, signups, format choices and clicks to a marketplace. It can use cookies and device or browser information to distinguish visits. A click to Etsy or Amazon is an outbound click, not proof that a purchase occurred. Our custom analytics events do not intentionally include the email address or message entered in a form.
Google describes its processing in its privacy policy and its explanation of data from sites that use Google services.
Pinterest Tag and matching
The Pinterest Tag reports page visits, downloads, signups, format choices and marketplace-link clicks. Pinterest can use cookies and other identifiers to associate those events with Pinterest activity and to measure advertising or audiences. These identifiers should not be treated as anonymous.
Automatic enhanced match is turned off in our Pinterest tag settings. We do not configure the tag to automatically collect contact information from our form fields for matching, and our custom event code does not intentionally send your email address or message to Pinterest. Turning off this feature does not disable the Pinterest Tag, its cookies or its other measurement functions described above.
See Pinterest's explanation of automatic enhanced match and Pinterest's privacy policy, and you can turn off ad personalization at pinterest.com/settings/privacy. Browser tracking protection or an ad blocker may restrict these scripts; effectiveness depends on your browser and settings.
Where it lives
Forms submitted directly on this site are stored using Netlify Blobs on our hosting platform so we can respond to your request. Hosting providers process that information to provide the service. Google and Pinterest separately process the measurement information described above under their own policies. The separate seasonal signup is processed by Brevo as described above. We keep submitted information while it is needed to handle your request; you can ask us to review or delete it through the contact page.
Buying a book
Printable PDFs are sold through Etsy, and available paperback editions are sold through Amazon. When you choose a marketplace you leave this site. That marketplace handles checkout, payment and fulfillment under its own policies. See Etsy's privacy policy and Amazon's privacy notice. We receive seller or publisher reports made available by those services; we do not collect your payment-card information on this site.
Cookies
Google Analytics and Pinterest can set or read cookies and similar identifiers for the measurement described above. Their duration depends on provider configuration and your browser settings. You can manage or clear cookies through your browser. Clearing them may reset preferences and does not necessarily prevent scripts from loading again.
Children
Our catalog includes children’s books and adult coloring ideas; the site and email forms are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted a form, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete anything you have submitted at any time through the contact page. You can also use that page to withdraw a request for future updates. Google offers an Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers, and Pinterest offers the privacy settings linked above. We answer requests by hand, so please allow a few days.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it. Material changes will be noted here.
