Set out one page and a few crayons for a Christmas coloring break. Save the other sheets for another afternoon, a classroom table or Christmas Eve.
Your Christmas activity setup
- The free Christmas Activity Pack, printed on US Letter or A4 paper
- Crayons or colored pencils, plus a pencil for the games
- A flat table or clipboard
- Optional for Santa’s Stop: milk, a cookie and a carrot, chosen with a grown-up
Choose the PDF that matches your paper. Print from the file, and use “fit to printable area” if the preview clips an edge. Keep page 6 with the grown-up for printing notes and answers.
Start with the Christmas coloring placemat
Page 1 combines Santa coloring, a mini maze, tic-tac-toe and a space to draw a gift. Let your child choose where to start.
- Color Santa, then add a gift of your own.
- Take turns placing an X or O. The first player with three in a row wins.
Find, count and color with I Spy
On page 2, find the candy canes, presents and snow people. Count one kind at a time, then color the pictures.
Make counting easier: Point to or mark each picture as you count. The grown-up guide includes the totals.
Help Santa finish the delivery maze
Page 3 has a larger maze. Begin at START and follow the open path to FINISH.
- Try the route with a finger before using a pencil.
- Use the answer guide for a hint if a turn gets tricky.
Decorate a Christmas tree
Color the tree and ornaments on page 4, then add a special decoration. Invite your child to tell you about the decoration they drew.
Set out Santa’s Stop on Christmas Eve
Page 5 is a separate treat mat, with room for a name, milk, a cookie and a carrot for the reindeer. Write a name or draw a picture for Santa at the top.
- Draw the treats in the spaces, or ask a grown-up to help set out real ones.
- Keep the activity placemat for games and use this sheet for the Christmas Eve treats.

Save a page for another Christmas moment
Print just the pages you need for your own family or class. Share this article with another family or teacher so they can get the pack; please do not resell or redistribute the PDFs.
For individual pictures, browse the free Christmas coloring pages, including Santa and the snowman. The coloring book below is a separate, optional purchase.
